  CSC conducts one-on-one training from the comfort of your home or office with virtual lessons. Many of our past and present clients have benefitted from meeting with our speech gurus through an online platform. We offer the option of traveling to your office and would be happy to discuss this option with you.  Our headquarters is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania however we serve all areas.

 Have you ever thought, "my voice is too high pitched", "I hate hearing myself speak", or "my voice doesn't sound authoritative?"  Our training discusses why you may not like the sound of our voice and how we can learn to improve its sound by still remaining authentic and natural. With our help, you can change your voice, enhance it and learn to love it because...our voices are not set in stone. 

 The length of time it takes to become a better speaker depends on several factors such as individual affinity for speech, one's desired level of proficiency, and the level of practice done outside the program. Following an introductory lesson, we can assess more accurately how long it will take you to reach your “speech goal.”
 

Define “desired level of proficiency.”
The "perfect end” of speech training - no need to train anymore ever again - is not an attainable goal because our voices change, our needs change, and our goals change – and even speaking coaches never give up on improving their vocal skills. Yet with every lesson, you will notice an improvement. Ultimately, it is your decision alone to determine if you are sufficiently proficient for your current purposes. For example, someone who wants to become more comfortable with small talk might reach their goal before a person training for a professional career. Of course, what happens frequently is that clients are so encouraged by their success on one level that they want to move to the next step. Often students come regularly at first. After certain achievements, they will revisit the program a few times a year or just before an important meeting or event.
 

Homework Assignments
​Outside classroom work can really affect training time – shortening it to a great extent. Actually, practicing outside the classroom is the single most important factor in determining the length of training. This speech course also includes a comprehensive set of exercises to be done on the client's own time. Statistics show that clients who perform these exercises can see dramatic results in minimum time. On the other hand, clients who do not perform these exercises need a much longer period – even months - to reach their goals.
 

Affinity for Speech
Let's use an example here – for instance - I can hardly draw a straight line but my neighbor can create a beautiful picture after just one day's work. On the other hand, I can make a mouthwatering chili and he can't cook for beans. My point is that we all have our own talents – and affinity for speech is no different from any other area. Many people excel in vocal exercises and applications while others can take longer to reach the same level of proficiency.
